Meet Our Team

  • Dr. Bonnie McDonald Watson

    Dr. Bonnie McDonald Watson, DO, co-owner of Arizona Family Care, PLLC, earned her BS in Biology from Grand Canyon University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1997. This was followed by her medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002.  She completed her internship and Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and was nominated as Arizona’s Outstanding Second-Year Family Practice Resident during her tenure at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  She is a diplomat with the American Board of Family Medicine since 2004.  She is Chair of the Family Practice Department and is an active member of Medical Executive Committee at Arrowhead Hospital.  She previously held leadership roles on the Physician Leadership Counsel, Credential Committee and was Vice Chair of the Family Practice Department.  She enjoys all aspects of medicine, caring for the young as well as the aging population.  When not caring for patients, Dr. McDonald Watson enjoys the beach, hiking, fishing running and spending time with family and friends.

  • Dr. Heidi Banister

    Dr. Heidi Banister, MD, co-owner of Arizona Family Care, PLLC, grew up in the Seattle, Washington area.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at Washington State University.  She spent a few years working in the bio-medical field.  She then went on to Pennsylvania State University for medical school and completed her residency at St. Joseph's here in Phoenix, Arizona.  She participated on the Physicians Leadership Counsel.  She is currently Chair of the Family Practice Department and is an active participant of the Credentialing Committee at Arrowhead Hospital.  Her special interests are pediatric medicine, preventative medicine for all ages and being an active athlete herself, an interest in sports medicine.  She has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 2002.  In her spare time she likes to hike and spend time with her family and pets.

  • Diana Stan

    Diana Stan, PA-C, is a Glendale, Arizona local who graduated from Ironwood High School. She earned her BS in Physiology from the University of Arizona. During her time at the University of Arizona, she also worked in a microbiology research lab. Diana worked as a PCT and scribe in the Emergency Department before pursuing her PA training. She attended Marshall B. Ketchum Physician Assistant School in Fullerton, California and graduated in 2016 as part of the inaugural class with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine, but especially enjoys women's health and preventative medicine. Diana is a wife and a mother of two energetic boys. Diana's favorite things outside of medicine are spending time with her family, being active in her church, watching various sporting events, and visiting Disneyland!

  • Chad Sievers

    Chad Sievers, PA-C, is a Montana native who grew up in the small town of Power. He later went on to earn a BS in cell Biology and Neuroscience and a BS in Kinesiology from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT in 2012 and 2013 respectively. During his time there he enjoyed being a collegiate football player as well as engaging in genetic research. After his undergraduate time, Chad worked as an athletic trainer and a certified nursing assistant while coaching track and field. In 2016 he started his PA training at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT graduating in 2018. Currently Chad is ACLS and PALS certified and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He enjoys all aspects of medicine and particularly enjoys pediatrics and sports medicine. Chad's favorite things to do outside of the office are hiking, playing with his dog, and CrossFit.
